Кой е Франки?

Това е проект,върху който работя през последните няколко години .Главният герой в него се казва Франки и проследявам неговите трансформации в различни медии.Първоначално написах кратък разказ,който послужи за сценария за късометражен  филм,след това кадрите от филма станаха рисунки,а те по-късно се превърнаха с обемни инсталации,фотографии,картини.

Работите ми разказват за мечтите, страховете,работата ,любовта на Франки.

визията и концепцията на целия проект е минималистична и в повечето случаи черно-бяла,главният герой е геометризиран и изглежда почти като робот,като типична жертва на пост-модерното консуматорско общество.

целият проект отразява,проследява и пародира забързания и консуматорски начин на живот на съвременни я човек.Стандартният социален капан на човека станал жертва на собствените си стремежи и блянове.

Велизар Димчев роден е през 1983 в град Пловдив, живее и работи в Лондон, Великобритания.Завършил е магистърска степен по живопис в Националната художествена академия, а след това е специализирал в Париж. Има зад гърба си няколко самостоятелни изложби и десетки участия в групови експозиции. През 2010 е номиниран за наградата Руф.

Who is Franky?

This is a project I'm working on over the past few years. Protagonist  is Franky and I track his transformations in different media. First I wrote a short story, which serves as a script for a short film , then from the  story boards  from the film I made a paintings , and they later became a drawings, photographs , paintings . Works tell us about the dreams , fears , work , love  of Franky .

The vision and concept of the entire project is minimal and mostly colored in black and white , the protagonist is geometrized and looks almost like a robot as a typical victim of the post- modern consumer society . Whole project reflects a track and parody hectic to consumer lifestyle of modern person.The typical social trap human victim of his own aspirations and dreams .
